Ok so technically there is no "cooking" involved in this recipe but that is why it is the first one I am posting. In our efforts to eat healthier in the Blaine household we have found a few new ways to snack. This actually came from A#2 and a cooking class she took after school and we have made it since then. It is great to have on hand when you need a munchy or when you go to a movie (even though I LOVE movie theatre pocorn, it is not good for you at all). Over the summer when me and the girls went to a bunch of free movies, we would take a few bags full of this and much away. You can add or take away from it however you like.
My ingredients:
Some type of granola, this one is our fave (Cascadian Farms Organic)
Craisins
mini or regular semi sweet morsels

Poor it all in a large bowl and mix.

Store in an air tight container.

Enjoy!!!!!
* You can also add almonds or any other kind of nut that you like for a little protein.
Also this makes a great Christmas gift if you add it to a really cute jar or container :)
Oh YUM! I made something similar last summer for trail mix, and when the chocolate melted it turned into a huge granola bar...so good!
